A Heartwarming Tale: 21 Pups, Including Those Rescued from Slaughterhouse Truck, Fly to Freedom

Lady Freethinker generously contributed thousands of dollars towards a rescue mission that brought dogs from China to Canada. The aim was to help these dogs, who were rescued from difficult situations, find loving homes.

21 Dogs Rescued and Looking for homes

Lady Freethinker, an animal rescue nonprofit, has successfully coordinated with the World of Angels Foundation to transport 21 rescue dogs from China to Vancouver, Canada. These dogs were saved from the treacherous dog meat trade and puppy mills, among other dangerous situations in China. Some of these dogs are stray animals while some were abandoned pets that rescuers found suffering on the streets. Among the rescued canines were five puppies who were spared from death when their pregnant mother was rescued from a slaughterhouse truck. The dogs have finally found a chance at a happy life thanks to the collaboration of these animal rescue organizations.

The Lady Freethinker organization has successfully rescued 21 dogs from China’s meat trade industry. Thanks to the generous donation of over $40,000, Lady Freethinker was able to cover all the expenses for these furry friends, including boarding expenses, transportation fees, paperwork fees, and other essential costs. Upon arrival in Vancouver, many of the dogs were already adopted by loving families waiting eagerly for their new pets. The rest went to Rescue PAWS Canada, where they will stay until they find their forever homes. Nina Jackel, the founder and president of Lady Freethinker, expressed pride in being a part of this life-changing initiative, helping innocent animals have a new chance at life in a safe and cruelty-free environment. It is our collective responsibility to be the voice for those voiceless creatures and protect them from harm.
