Winy Juan Antonio Enriquez manages a quaint store in the Mexican city of Nuevo León, and his hard work has paid off with a loyal patronage. Among his regular customers, there are a handful who hold a special place in their heart for his establishment.
Enriquez was about to close his store and call it a day when an unanticipated guest showed up almost a year ago. A lost dog suddenly appeared, seeking kindness and attention. The animal seemed malnourished, so the shopkeeper gave it some food. The furry creature ate the meal hungrily and quickly disappeared.
Moreover, it was clear that the adorable companion acknowledged Enriquez’s benevolence. Consequently, the pooch would unexpectedly drop by the shop for many days and even weeks, and as a result, he would be welcomed with hearty meals! With this act of kindness, Enriquez won the trust of the canine.
Enriquez revealed that it took him more than a month to gain Carlos’ trust and allow him to give him some love. The good news was that Carlos started to visit the store twice a day – once in the morning and once at night, much to Enriquez’s happiness.
