Geographical Area

Light Requirement
– For optimal blooming and sturdier stems, full sun exposure is recommended. Once the blooms have opened up, you can move them to a partially shaded area to extend their blooming period.
For mums, it is recommended to use soil that is well-drained and nutrient-rich. If you have experience growing a vegetable garden, then you’ll have no problem growing mums. These flowers bloom from September until the frost sets in, and their blooming cycle is triggered by shorter days. It’s important to avoid watering the plants overhead once flower buds start forming because excessive water can lead to premature browning of the petals.
