The Dog Rescue Shelter is an independent, non-profit rescue group that operates in Serbia. They have a shelter located in Mladenovac, which happens to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in the area. Recently, they received a call and photograph of a skinny and sick dog that had been wandering the streets.
This kind-hearted young pup was struggling with two illnesses, namely Bbesiosis and Demodicosis, at such a tender age of just one year.
The team of rescuers brought him to their veterinarian clinic and he received treatment for a week. Thankfully, his condition improved and he started eating again.
In a span of only 10 days, Hopi has made a full recovery and is now back to being healthy and happy. He has found true joy in the company of his new family, who have given him a loving forever home that he truly deserves.
